Accounts are licensed for individual use only. You may not share your account credentials with others.
The Bookkeeping Companion offers subscription-based access. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which serves as our Merchant of Record.
By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method on the billing cycle you selected (monthly or annually). Subscriptions automatically renew until canceled.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

The "Ask Claude" feature uses third-party AI technology. Responses are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors. AI responses should not be relied upon as authoritative.
Do not share sensitive personal information, financial account details, social security numbers, or confidential business information through this feature. Conversations may be reviewed for quality assurance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Bookkeeping Companion and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: financial losses resulting from acting on educational content, business decisions, tax filings, or accounting practices.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms. When we make material changes, we'll notify active subscribers by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us to delete your account data.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Tarrant County, Texas.
